“Where we are not, things are good. In the past we are no longer there, and it seems beautiful to us.”
Anton Chekhov

Three girls busy cleaning up memories. Each of them, from her own box, will pull out old memories, stories of lived experiences that will bring up memories of collective events: September 11, the war in Iraq, the Lehman Brothers crash, the death of Lady Diana, Big Brother and television experiences from the '90s and 2000s.

To the memory of a collective recollection, the story of a private, sometimes traumatic, experience is always inseparably linked.

The three girls, intent on reorganizing the archive of memory, will choose which memories to throw away and which to keep.
It is an investigation aimed at reconstructing a personal and collective memory, at analyzing our insecurities, our anxieties, and our fears, to try to understand if they have a common root. What makes us part of the same community? How are we different from previous and future generations? How do we relate to the future?
